Birth is my passion, and I believe that every woman can have a positive, memorable, and empowering birth experience. Since having my son in 2010, I became fascinated with birth and the capability of woman’s body. I strongly believe in providing the right support to a birthing mother and her partner.
The way we birth our babies has a profound effect on them. Babies born in a calm, relaxed and loving environment receive a foundational security of feeling welcomed and loved throughout life. They breastfeed well, sleep well, and are calmer as children and adults later in life.
Mothers who birth their babies confidently, calmly and with ease, become empowered and strong. Fathers participating at birth feel relaxed and comfortable being part of this special event that creates a bond lasting a lifetime.
My goal is to support you and your birth partner throughout the birth. Having a doula decreases the pressure on the partner allowing comfortable participation, and increases enjoyment of the birth of the baby for both parents.
Being a placenta specialist, I can make remedies for you straight after birth. The placenta benefits a healing mother after birth in many forms. Placenta smoothies, capsules, creams, tinctures, essences and homeopathic remedies can all be made using the placenta; each may have their own benefit to the body and encourage a quicker more natural recovery after birth.
